Kiosk – Information Center we put up next to Kwik Trip. This kiosk is for members only.
Each member can have up to 1 – 8.5 x 11 sheet. This means that you can post a business card or a full sheet promoting your business. Please do not fold the paper as it will look creased on the board.
It will also include area maps & event posters.
Anything taped to the outside of the kiosk will be taken down.
If you would like to put business or event information in the kiosk, please give it to a board member or bring it to the General Chamber Meetings.
It has been an exciting year for the Montello Area Chamber of Commerce. Our membership exceeded our expectations and because of that success we were able to do a number of things for the community. We have over 100 businesses and organizations in the Montello Area!
- Christmas window decorating contest
- Christmas tree lighting ceremony/with Santa
- Halloween Parade
- Fish N Fun Festival
- Partnerships with the art department of Montello High School to decorate windows of empty stores to improve the image of downtown.
- Scholarships
- Utilized various service organizations to deliver services at Fish N Fun. Those organizations were the beneficiaries of all funds raised by their efforts.
- 50-50 raffle
- Bingo
- Presentation by Travel Wisconsin on Tourism
- Flowers in the downtown area
- Buffalo Lake pier, downtown
Our future efforts include:
- Partnerships with the Rotary to extend Father Marquette Days by providing music and food into the evening
- Continued growth of Fish N Fun
